Friendly v Irlam FC - Wed 22 July 2009
As part of our pre-season programme, FC United will be playing a friendly against Irlam FC on Wednesday 22 July at their ground, Silver Street, Irlam, Manchester M44 6JL.
Irlam are about to complete their first season in the North West Counties League, having been promoted from the Manchester League at the end of season 2007-08 and they are safely placed in the top half of the table, which is a creditable achievement in their first season at that level. We’re looking forward to playing a local Manchester based team that we didn’t have the opportunity to meet during our North West Counties years.
