Hunting for Eric...

Fun Day in town, Saturday 6th June - All proceeds in aid of FC United

As part of the fun surrounding the June release of Ken Loach and the King’s new film, Looking for Eric, and to raise funds for our club, FC United is holding a treasure hunt in Manchester city centre on Saturday 6th June.

Great prizes for the young and old are on offer for those participating in the Treasure Hunt:

They include:

• A meal for four at Heathcote’s Olive Press Restaurant in the city.
• A day out for 4 at Alton Towers
• Film memorabilia signed by Ken Loach and cast members
• Free Tickets to see the film

Each team of four will be given a series of clues to questions about Eric and United legends and the answers will be available at various sites in the city centre.

All participants will be given a Cantona mask for the day and a Looking for Eric T-shirt. Because Looking for Eric promotes the FC United ethos and non-League football we have also agreed to give out fliers advertising FC United and the film.

Entrants can use the opportunity to raise sponsorship for the club with forms available from the club office or even easier set up your own sponsorship collection page at www.bmycharity.com

The hunt will begin at 1pm from Matt and Phred’s on Oldham Street where the proprietors have kindly agreed to host us, so we can also put on entertainment in the afternoon.

How to enter:
• Select your team of four people
• Send the team members’ names, the team name & £20 to the Club Office
• Be at Matt and Phreds for 1pm on Saturday 6th June

Finally if you have any crazy ideas for the event which may help to raise funds for FC, please let us know at sponsorship@fc-utd.uk or contact the office on 0161 273 8950.
