Cheadle match on - volunteers required

Following a pitch inspection at 10am this morning the referee has declared the pitch fit to play, pending any heavy rain downpours that dramatically affect the conditions.

However, the groundsman is concerned about Bury's next home match which is due to take place on Tuesday evening and the effect today's game will have on the wet surface. In mind of this, FC would like to ask for volunteers to help repair the pitch after the game.

Any supporters that are able to help in this way are urged to bring along their own garden forks as obviously Bury don't have enough to go around. Please bring your forks to the ground's reception before the game, ensuring that it is clearly labelled with your name. Then after the game further instructions for where to go will be announced.
