Away Travel

FC United are looking to improve the communication and organisation of club travel to future away games starting with the games against Guiseley and Boston.

The aim is to organise a coach to each game but when demand is insufficient to warrant booking a coach we would like to organise car sharing.

A coach would always pick up in central Manchester, with usually one other pick up point on route determined by demand. Departure will be planned so that the coach would arrive at our opponents ground one hour before kick off to allow supporters time for a drink or something to eat before the game.

Car Sharing

We would like encourage supporters to add their names to a ’Car Share Scheme’ where supporters wanting to attend a game but have no transport or don’t wish to drive can be matched with others who may have spaces in their car, supporters would then be able to share petrol costs.
