Egg shaped balls

FC are putting out 2 eggshaped teams on Friday night and all are welcome to come and see how they perform. The teams are having a practice match before both teams go up for auditions for the BBC Eggheads programme the following week. If either team gets selected for the show and wins on the programme the winnings will be going to the ground fund so come along and give the lads some support (beer on tap!)

In the absence of any having the opportunity to see any FC teams in action during the ice age the Eggheaders have decided to invite members along for a social evening at the Y Club in Castlefield. The Eggheads practice match will be taking place in the function room upstairs from the Y Club, (actually in the Castlefield Hotel,where the FC poker nights were held for those that attended). There is a bar in the hotel with a selection of offers on bottles of lager, and there are also a few different cask ales available. Food is also available in the bar for those wanting to eat. Kick off for the quiz will be 8.30 so if you want to see some of us exhibit our lack of general knowledge before exposing ourselves on national TV then come along on Friday at the Y club on Liverpool Road in Manchester.
