Wilson loan deal extended

Macclesfield Town striker Kyle Wilson has extended his loan deal with FC United for an extra month after the two clubs agreed new terms which includes a 24 hour recall clause.

Wilson has scored four goals in five unbeaten games since rejoining the Reds including a hat-trick in the 6-1 demolition of Nantwich Town and the Silkmen were keen to take him back at the end of February. However, a deal has been negotiated which will hopefully see Wilson stay with us until the end of March whilst allowing the League Two side the option to give 24 hours’ notice on recalling him at any time.

FC United Manager Karl Marginson said: "We’re delighted to have Kyle for a bit longer. He’s a great talent and a proven goal scorer. We’re grateful to Macclesfield for agreeing the terms with us and we’re confident that us giving Kyle a good run of regular football can be of benefit to him and Macclesfield."??
