Job opportunities for unemployed young people at FC United

FC United’s community team are delighted to be able to offer six young people who are struggling to find employment and opportunity to work with the community team for six months.

The posts are;

• Administration Assistant (Membership)


• Administration Assistant (Community)


• Project Assistant (Wellbeing Project)


• Football Coach (North Manchester)


• Football Coach (South Manchester)


• Football Coach and Dance Instructor



Funding for these posts comes from the Future Jobs Fund and so there are strict conditions attached to who can apply for these posts.

In order to apply candidates need to have been in receipt of Jobseekers’ Allowance for six months and be aged 18-24 years old. We may be able to get permission to employ older people for the Project Assistant post and the Football Coach and Dance Instructor post if we do not get sufficient applications from younger people.
