Membership Stall for Hucknall and Community Shares Push

With just over a month to go before the Community Share Scheme deadline we need one big final push to get the club over the line and to take us another step closer to Ten Acres Lane.

We need the help of everyone to reach the target. If you keep thinking about it, please go on and do it. If you have already invested, or are unable to, but know other people who would be in a position to do so then please give them all available information and persuade as many people as possible to take part in ensuring we can build a facility for the good of Newton Heath and Manchester as a whole.

As well as sending all applications to Cobbetts directly, people can also hand Community Shares applications in at the Membership Stall, located on Karl Marginson Way in front of the Forever Bury Cabin, near our own MegaCabin before all our home games. Offer documents and information leaflets are also available as well as ‘Second Application’ forms.

If you’ve already invested and are in a position to top up your investment then please consider doing so – we can help make the whole process easier for you. Also, don’t forget that the Development Fund Stall will also take any share applications off your hands as well. They will all get delivered to Cobbetts at the same time.

Don’t forget to make sure the cheque, if paying by that method, is made payable to Cobbetts and not to FC United.

The General Meeting will be coming up within the next few months as well, so if you would like to make sure you can attend and vote on any issues that may come up then get your Membership bought as soon as possible.

We currently stand at 3,343 Members for 2010/2011, which is 97 short of the first season total. It would be fantastic if we could break that barrier and push forward to 3,500 Members for the season.

Don’t forget that the Membership period runs from the 1st of July to the 30th of June annually, so you do need to renew from season to season. Please make sure you are up to date and persuade anyone you know who shows an interest in FC to join up. After all, who doesn’t want to own their own football club?

We will also have Comedy Night tickets for the 27th of January, priced at £10. The night promises to be one full of laughter and they are always a good night. There’s only the last few tickets remaining so make sure you get yours soon.
