The same question twice...

This Week’s News

Good day to you all

Welcome to this week’s FCUM Radio Newsletter, a week in which we really do have to ask ourselves the same question twice, can we do it? Yes be it getting into our new home at Ten Acres Lane or getting into the play-offs, the next week is going to be a crucial time for everyone at the club.

The deadline for the Community Shares offer is Monday 28th February and to celebrate this fact whilst raising a bit more money for the Development Fund, FCUM Radio is proud to announce The Take Us Home-afon, live this Sunday at 6pm. It promises to be an evening where pledges, interviews and dedications will be taken all for the good ship Ten Acres Lane. For more information about Community Shares, please visit http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/communityshares

On the pitch, as if this season hadn’t already been one of the finest ever, it now appears that we might not be out of the funfair just yet. Can we really make the play-offs? Can we? For your next instalment of this thrill a minute season, tune into FC Live on Saturday at 2pm, live from Stocksbridge Park Steels.

And one last thing, on Saturday’s People United Day, FCUM Radio noted a disturbance in the force with the arrival of Unity FM onto the Gigg Lane forecourt. One thing has become very apparent though from this visit and that’s our new found fondness for a double-decker bus. If we at FCUM Radio can somehow get hold of a proper Orange GM Buses one, shove FCUM Radio on the side and do commentary from the roof for FC Live, I think we’d be very happy indeed.
