Pre-season friendlies at Radcliffe and Chadderton

Two friendlies have been finalised so far for this summer’s pre-season, with more to follow of course.

Radcliffe Borough v FC United and Funday Saturday 11 August 2012
Our old friends at Radcliffe have invited us to play them on the final Saturday before the 2012-13 league season begins and they are planning to make it a Funday with lots of events going on before the actual game.

Chadderton v FC United XI Thursday 19 July 2012
Near the beginning of pre-season, we’ve arranged a game at Chadderton against an FC United XI, which will be a tough game to test our youngsters and triallists. This will be an opportunity to play at one of the grounds we missed in the North West Counties Football League. Those with long memories may recall we wondered whether Chadderton really existed, because the games against them got postponed so many times in the first season. Now we’ve got a chance to go there and find out.
