Armchair Army boosts 'Pound for the Ground' total

The ’Pound for the Ground’ draw winning number at the Hednesford game was 0493 and was claimed before the drawmaster managed his half-time cuppa. The winner received £200 and kindly donated £50 back to the cause. We sold 515 tickets, so a grand total of £315 will be paid into the Development Fund this week.

In addition we have received £360 from members of the Armchair Army, these are members of THE SOUL IS ONE unofficial forum, who are unable to attend games on a regular basis and have bought PFTG tickets for every match up front. This helps them to enjoy the true match-day experience whist contributing to the DF.

The barrels were emptied, and with the addition of the £50 donation from the PFTG winner, £135 was the total, along with 10 euros and a cornucopia of foreign notes and coins, old and new; all to be sorted for exchanging in the future. The 2,000000 old turkish lira raised our hopes until we found out that it will only buy a small bottle of water!! Seriously though, it all has a value and and we can swap the out-of-date stuff with a coin dealer.
