A night at the Opera

November 15th sees the next FC event, following on from the successes of previous themed food nights, opera returns to FC.

FC United are proud to present internationally renowned opera singer Sean Ruane hosting a night of opera and fine food at one of Manchester’s finest venues Cafe Istanbul.

The last opera night sold out and this one is sure to follow the same path.

Tenor Sean Ruane is one of the rising stars of the opera world, whose breathtaking vocal artistry comes with an endearing, easygoing style that has allowed him to grace grand opera, TV and sporting arenas with ease.

Whilst opera remains at the heart of his work Sean has become the voice of the nations sporting events. He has sung ahead of England football internationals, rugby six nations tournaments, the last three Ashes series and the opening ceremony of the Olympics. He has also appeared on the teenage cancer trust concerts alongside the likes of Paul Weller, Jools Holland and many many others.
