FC member Jean Scott

Sadly, on 2nd January, FC fan and member Jean Scott passed away after a very short illness.

Jean was a very keen supporter of the Red’s Women’s team and FC United in general. When she was unable to attend games Jean was always interested to hear how the match had gone and was really looking forward to the new ground.

Jean was also an active member of the Newton Heath Supporters Branch and the M40 4FC campaign group and clearly enjoyed the camaraderie and the fact that FC United is about far more than just the football.

Jean’s funeral takes place at the Methodist Church Crumpsall at 10am, on Monday 20th January. The family would be pleased to see any FC’ers there if possible and are grateful for the pleasure FC United gave Jean in the latter years of her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
