Travel

Travel - public transport

Bury is approximately 9 miles north of Manchester, and is well served by both bus and tram. The tram runs from Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly railway stations, and Bury is the last stop on the line. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes (£4.10 return for adults). The tram station is in the centre of Bury; about 15 minutes’ walk from the ground.

Alternatively the 135 bus from Manchester takes about 40 minutes and stops close to Gigg Lane (£4.50 for an adult Day Saver). For further information about public transport see www.tfgm.com

Travel - by car

The ground is only 3.5 miles from junction 17 of the M60. Exit the M60 at junction 17 and keep following signs for Bury A56. After a third of a mile, go through the double traffic lights passing McDonalds on the left hand side. Just after the Bull’s Head pub, bear right at the traffic lights. Continue straight on for 2 miles, and then turn right just after the Swan and Cemetery pub into Gigg Lane (signposted Football Ground). The ground is on the right hand side.

Parking

Limited parking is available at the ground for a charge of £3. Additional parking is available at St Luke’s Primary School (Morley Street, Bury BL9 9JQ) for £3. All monies raised at both car parks will go to FC United club funds.

There is also plenty of free on street parking within easy walking distance but please note there are parking restrictions on some streets around the ground with a residents parking scheme in effect. It’s best to check carefully before leaving your car.

Please be respectful of the local residents and we ask that residents driveways are kept clear at all times.
