Line-up for FCUM Radio Summer Proms

FCUM Radio is delighted to announce the line-up for this year’s FCUM Radio Summer Proms, the almost annual fundraising event for the station run and owned by its volunteers and the members of FC United.

This year FCUM Radio are working with the brilliant people at Manchester’s Ruby Lounge to put on a night to remember. A night which takes place on Wednesday the 6th of August.

The aim of the night is simple, FC United are moving to North Manchester, and FCUM Radio wants to move there too. But to do this, FCUM Radio need to raise as much money as they can over the summer to make this dream a reality.

So who have FCUM Radio managed to nab for this year’s extravaganza?
• HEY BULLDOG: Mancunian sensations, this band are going places people, and we’re honoured to have them headlining this year’s Prom.
• GIDEON CONN: Totally captivating and utterly marvellous. If you haven’t heard Gideon Conn, you have to come. And even if you have heard him, you’ll know that you’ll have to come anyway.
• THROW THEM BONES: Sort of gypsy, sort of hoodoo – but all round amazing TTB will blow your socks off.
• BEES OF BURDEN: Salford’s answer to the Delta , this stripped back act will have you stomping to another place in time.
• MARV WILLERS: FCUM Radio’s very own Marv playing loudly on piano with a guy called Paul on the drums.
• KELLI BLANCHETT: She’s been compared to Bat for Lashes and PJ Harvey, this year Kelli will open the night with some wonderful, haunting electric folk.

So please come down and support FCUM Radio and make the artists happy that they’re playing for free!! What better excuse to meet up with friends this pre-season. Tickets will be £5 and the doors will open at 7:30pm.
