FC United academy manager to speak at national coaching conference

FC United’s academy manager, Paul Bright, has been invited to deliver a presentation at the prestigious national coaching event, Inspire! #nextgencoaches Conference, in London on Sunday 29 March 2015.

Inspire! is powered by World Football Academy (founded by Raymond Verheijen in collaboration with a number of leading experts in world football) and their objective is to inspire and educate a next generation of forward-thinking coaches, through coaching conferences held regionally around the UK and via www.inspirefootballcoaching.com

Paul Bright, who is also currently studying towards his UEFA A licence, said; “I consider myself to be in a very privileged position at FC United working alongside Karl Marginson, Daz Lyons, Chuks Akunetto, Dave Brown, Rhodri Giggs and Richard Brown every day discussing philosophies, tactics, player development and being able to implement this with the youth team players. The work that we are already doing with our players is being noticed in the game and it will be great to give other coaches an insight into what we are trying to achieve at the club and share our philosophy and values with others.???

The #nextgencoaches conference is an inspiring weekend of learning, sharing and networking and will see 100 delegates each day attend presentations on a variety of themes. The first day is based on youth football and 29 March is a mixture of psychology, leadership and tactics. Inspire have chosen 14 speakers, each bringing their own unique philosophy and style, and the conference aims to get the next generation of coaches thinking differently and ‘out of the box’.

Inspire Director, Jon Trew, added: “From the first moment of speaking to Paul, it was clear to see how passionate he was about football and developing players. Paul’s enthusiasm and passion for the game is infectious and his forward-thinking philosophy makes him a perfect fit for Inspire. After delivering a superb practical session at the Inspire Chester Event, we didn’t hesitate in inviting Paul back to speak for us. We are delighted to have Paul speak at our #nextgencoaches conference and without doubt, coaches will be left inspired and wanting to hear more about Paul’s ideas and philosophy and what is being implemented at FC United of Manchester."
