Rammy Rattler steam train SOLD OUT

Following a tremendous response from FC supporters, our special ’Rammy Rattler’ steam train to the Ramsbottom game on Saturday 4 April 2015 is now completely sold out with no further places for sale.

More than 400 tickets were sold in two weeks and so we contacted East Lancashire Railway to enquire about the possibility of adding another coach to our train. Unfortunately, the ELR were not able to add a further coach so we have to work with what we have. Apologies to all those who were on our ’Rammy Rattler’ reserve list but the tickets are completely sold out.

All is not completely lost as supporters who wish to travel by steam train to Ramsbottom can still do so by taking an earlier (or later) scheduled service train from Heywood or Bury. These leave Heywood at 12.15pm or 2.15pm and Bury (Bolton Street) at 12.38 pm and 2.30pm. Please note that there is no alternative available train back from Ramsbottom after the game, so you would need to buy a single rail ticket direct from the ELR and then catch a service bus back or arrange other return transport.

For those who have, however, already booked and paid on the ’Rammy Rattler’, tickets can be collected at our home matches from the membership stall. And those supporters who have specifically requested them to be posted should receive them this week.
