Normal matchday prices to apply for Ramsbottom United game

FC United has been informed by Ramsbottom United that the ticket prices for Saturday’s game against FC United will be £9 for adults and £4 for concessions (over 65s and under 16s), which are the usual admission prices charged by the club.

Previously, Ramsbottom had announced that they would be raising their prices, to £10 and £5. They have now reconsidered their position and they contacted FC United this morning to reinstate their £9 and £4 admission prices.

Commenting on the news, FC United general manager Andy Walsh said: "We welcome this change of heart by Ramsbottom United and appreciate the move they have made. Planning and arranging fixtures when a large crowd is expected requires careful planning and co-operation between clubs. This is the right decision in the end by Ramsbottom and we welcome it. Given Ramsbottom’s decision today to reinstate their normal prices, FC United has offered to assist them by providing stewards for this game.

"All FC United fans going to the game are encouraged to get to the ground before 2.15pm and where possible to bring the correct change to help ease congestion at the turnstiles. There are limited turnstiles at Ramsbottom’s ground and given the large crowd expected some congestion is inevitable. The club urges all FC United fans to get to the ground in good time to ensure that everybody is able to gain entry in a timely fashion.???

Saturday’s game is an important one for FC United in the battle for promotion and the club looks forward to a healthy and vocal turnout from FC fans to cheer on the team.
