Margy boosts his squad with two new signings ahead of Lowestoft Town clash

FC United manager Karl Marginson has further strengthened his squad with two new signings ahead of today’s game with Lowestoft Town at Broadhurst Park.

Chris Chantler, a left back from Macclesfield Town who has significant league experience has signed for the club. Chris, who can also play in midfield, started his career at Manchester City before moving to Carlisle, where he played 54 games and then Kilmarnock where he played 26 times.

Margy has also signed central defender Tom Eckersley. Currently at Curzon Ashton, Tom has been injured and not been able to get in team. He has played against FC for AFC Fylde and we are awaiting his release from Curzon subject to a few final formalities being completed.

We hope that the paperwork on both signings is completed and the players registered in time to be available for selection for today’s game against Lowestoft.
