Youth United Day this Saturday

Youth United Day this SaturdayThis coming Saturday, 30 April, it’s Youth United Day, FC United’s annual showcase to encourage young people to get involved with and enjoy the club.

This year’s event will be a fun-packed day to attract and involve the future generation of FC United supporters. The club is delighted to be working in partnership on the day with a number of local organisations including MaD Theatre Company, Moston Junior Football Club, Salford Harriers, Whitemoss Youth Centre and the Moston Lane Youth Project.

The Youth United Day activities start at 12 noon on Saturday and will run till 3pm. We will have a climbing wall, face painting, birds of prey and a bouncy castle at the front of the ground and also the Catalyst Youth Truck (including FIFA games consoles). On the 3G pitches we will have Collyhurst and Moston Amateur Boxing Club delivering boxing sessions, Moston Juniors will be holding football sessions, there will be a pool tournament and other sporting activities for people to take part in.

As part of Youth United Day, the club will be providing 400 children with a free ticket to the Solihull Moors match on Saturday and we aim to attract over 600 young people on the day.

The club is also very grateful for the support of Places for People, who are sponsoring Youth United Day.
