Reconvened General Meeting: Sunday 15th May at 12 noon.The reconvened General Meeting will be held in the Longfield Suite, Longfield Centre, Prestwich, M25 1AY at 12 noon on Sunday 15th May, with registration from 11am.

The board noted members’ comments and questions about who will be able attend and who will be able to vote, particularly those members who were not able to attend the first meeting which was held on Sunday, April 24th.

The following table aims to clarify the position for members whether attending in person, voting by post or voting via a proxy:

Please could all members refer to the paperwork that has been sent for this meeting (by email, and post for those members who require it) to ensure they follow the requirements to attend and/or vote.

The meeting will be chaired by board member Tim Worrall.

Tim together with the other three remaining board members – Sam Mullock, Rob Blow and Neil Boothman – will oversee the meeting, report to members on Finance and Operations in particular, and answer questions.

The order of the meeting will be as follows:

2. Resolutions
3. Members’ Votes
4. Board report on finance and operations
5. Questions for the board
6. Any Other Business
7. Closure of the Meeting

Getting there by car:

From the M60:
Take junction 17 towards Prestwich, turn left at the lights near to M&S Simply Food and then take the second right. The Longfield Centre Car Park is on the right, less than 1 mile from the M60.

From Manchester city centre:
Take Bury New Road towards Bury. When you enter Prestwich Village turn right at M&S Simply Food. Then take the second right. The Longfield Centre car park is on the right.

Car Parking:
There are 2x FREE car parks situated near to the Longfield Suite.

Getting there by bus:
Prestwich Village is well served by a number of bus routes. Services 92, 93, & 98 operate regularly between Manchester city centre & Bury. The 95 between Salford & Whitefield. The 154 between Cheetham Hill & Bury. The 484 between Eccles & Whitefield. The 495 between Simister & Prestwich. From further afield, the X40, X41, X43 services go via Prestwich en-route between Accrington, Blackburn, Nelson, Rawtenstall, Whalley & Manchester.

The Longfield Suite is just a minute’s walk from all surrounding bus stops on the village.
