On Saturday 20th August FC United welcome Worcester City to Broadhurst Park in the Vanarama National League North, kick-off 3pm.

After a promising start to the season, picking up 5 points from the first three games, with a win against Stockport County and two draws against Chorley and Telford respectively, FC were defeated 1-0 away at Salford City on Tuesday night. Worcester City have picked up just one point from their opening 4 matches.

FC United look forward to get back to winning ways on Saturday in front of another big crowd.

Saturday’s match is PAY ON THE GATE with admission prices as follows:

TICKETS FOR DARLINGTON (H) WILL BE ON SALE AT TODAY’S MATCH

FC United host Darlington on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August at 3pm. This is an ALL-TICKET MATCH.

We are now able to sell Tickets at today’s match.

These will be on general sale (to members & non-members) from 1.30pm until kick-off in the North Stand of the ground, between the TV gantry and the SMRE. (Maximum of 4 tickets per person).

BOARD SURGERY IN THE SMRE BAR

Board surgeries provide an opportunity for FC United members to discuss FC United issues direct with Board members.

On Saturday, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm at the far end of the SMRE Bar, Board members Pete Cranmer and Lawrence Gill will be on hand to answer any questions you have and listen to your feedback.

TURNSTILES

Saturday’s match will be unsegregated with all supporters being able to gain entry to ground via turnstiles 1 to 6 at the corners of the St. Mary’s Road End of the ground, or via turnstiles 9 to 12 at the Lightbowne Road End.

Season Ticket Holders will need to produce Voucher 3 in their season ticket books to can gain access.

Turnstiles will open at approximately 1pm

Supporters arriving between 12 noon and 1pm can gain access to the ground via the main entrance in the Main Stand.

BARS AND FOOD

Access to the Function Room Bar in the Main Stand can be gained through the main reception from 12 noon until the turnstiles open at approximately 1pm, by cash payment of the match admission as outlined above or by presenting the relevant season ticket voucher.

After the turnstiles open, entry to the function room will be via turnstiles 1 to 6 and 9-12, and then through the seated area of the main stand.

The Function Room Bar will serve hot food together with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before the match. Alcohol will not be sold in the function room at half time but soft drinks, teas and coffees and food will be available.

The bottle bar under the St Mary’s Road End terrace will be open before the match and again at half time. Please note this is strictly a No Smoking Area.

Other food outlets are situated inside and outside serving up a variety of choices:
  • Under the Main Stand Food Bar will serve hot food prepared by our chef and pies from Mettricks and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Fat Annies located between the North Stand and SMRE will serve gourmet hot dogs.
  • Herbies located outside the Main Stand/SMRE corner will serve hot food and non-alcoholic drinks. (also accessible during half time).

    COLLECTION OF MEMBERSHIP CARDS, SEASON TICKET AND DARLINGTON TICKETS.

    Current FC United Members can collect their Membership cards from the membership card table located in the ‘Stand with No name’ opposite the Main Stand.

    Purchased tickets for the Darlington match on Monday 29th August can be collected from outside the Officials, Players, Volunteer Entrance of the Main Stand. To help speed up the process, please state your order number (if known) and surname.

    Purchased Season Tickets can be also be collected from Officials, Players, Volunteer Entrance. Please state your Surname and post code.

    MATCH PROGRAMME

    Match programmes are priced at £2 and available to buy from sellers outside and inside the ground.

    POUND FOR THE GROUND TICKETS

    We are still raising money for the club’s Development Fund, as there’s still parts of the ground we still need to complete. The quickest and easiest way is to buy a Pound for the Ground ticket at £1 each at Saturday’s match.

    Your ticket will be entered into the draw, to be drawn at half time, where the winners win £200, the runner up wins £50 and for the 3rd prize winner a fudge hamper

    MERCHANDISE

    The Megastall will once again be open and located inside the ground between the Main Stand and the St. Mary’s Road End. As well as the usual hats, scarves and badges, we will also be selling the brand new away shirts (and shorts) as worn by the team at Tuesday away match at Salford.

  • Adults shirts are priced at £36 in sizes from Small to 5XL
  • Childrens shirts are priced at £18 in sizes from 6 months to aged 14
  • The new black shorts are priced at £18 for adults and £15 for children
  • Black socks are also available at £6 a pair.

    FREE WIFI

    We have free WiFi at Broadhurst Park for all supporters to use. Supplied by local company Pennine Telecom, to access the service just search for FCUM-FreeWiFi, select it and set up a user account.

    CAR PARKING

    Parking is very limited at the ground and supporters using the Club’s car park should be aware of lots of youngsters who may be in that area. Also, supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:

  • St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road;
  • Nuthurst Road;
  • the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.

    For £3, there is safe parking at St Matthew’s RC High School, which is less than five minutes’ walk away from the ground.

    PUBLIC TRANSPORT

    The nearest tram stop is Newton Heath and Moston on the Victoria to Rochdale line. It is a 15 or 20 minute walk up to the ground, but there is a shuttle bus from the Railway pub (turn right at the top of the tram stop steps).

    FOOTBALL SPECIAL BUSES FROM CITY CENTRE

    There will also be two football special buses running from Stevenson Square in the city centre to the ground. The buses are operated by First Buses and they leave from Stop TE in Stevenson Square.

    Departure times are at 2pm and 2.20pm

    The cost is £1.50 single. No return tickets available.

    Buses leave Broadhurst Park after the game when they are full. Departure is approximately five minutes after the final whistle, from Lightbowne Road.
