FC's Women go second in the league with 6-1 Victory in Liverpool

Hard on the heels of Sunday’s 3-1 opening day victory over Warrington Wolverines, the reds maintained their perfect start to the season with a fine 6-1 victory away to Liverpool City Ladies Community FC on Wednesday night. First half goals from Chloe Wild, Kirsty Chambers and Shellby Wolstencroft with one reply from Rachel Fortune gave the reds a 3-1 lead at the break. Player of the game Mia Holden notched a superb brace after the break and Wild grabbed her second to wrap up the scoring as the light rapidly faded on a great team performance. Full report to follow.
