FC United Punkertainment Quiz Night: Thursday 6th October at 8pm

At FC United we’ve always been good at asking a question or two but if you also fancy trying to answer a few questions then our first ever Punkertainment quiz night on Thursday 6th October at Broadhurst Park could be right up your street.

At FC United we’ve always been good at asking a question or two but if you also fancy trying to answer a few questions then our first ever Punktertainment quiz night on Thursday 6th October at Broadhurst Park could be right up your street.

The quiz will be held in the main function room and the bar will be open from 7pm with the quiz kicking off at 8pm.

We’re looking for teams of up to four to take part and the cost of entry will be £10 per team.

There will be ten rounds of questions on various subjects, including more than a few on FC United, and the winning team will receive a prize although we can’t promise a speedboat, a Blankety Blank style cheque book and pen or a million quid because, let’s face it, we’re more about making friends than boat-owning millionaires.

But we can promise that you’ll have a decent night and raise a few bob for this football club of ours in the process.

The idea for this quiz night stems from the good work of several of our supporters’ branches in holding regular and successful quiz nights.

Hopefully if we generate sufficient interest in this one at Broadhurst Park then it may become a regular event with a league table and possibly a prize or two for whichever team finishes in the much sought after eleventh position.

So if you fancy giving the old grey matter a bit of a work out on a Thursday night, a beer or two with a few mates and think you know how many appearances Simon Band made for FC United then get yourself to that football ground on the evening of Thursday 6th October.
