Lewis Thompson has been recalled to his parent club Blackburn Rovers, due to an injury to Rovers’ regular under-23 left back.
The young full-back made his debut for FC United in the 1-1 home draw against Southport in September and has gone from strength to strength since then. Thompson has been a first team regular, making 14 appearances and scoring a goal at Hereford.
Everyone at FC would like to thank Lewis for all of his hard work and effort during his time at Broadhurst Park and wish him all the best in the future.
Rowan Roache, a young midfielder, is joining us from Blackpool on a month’s loan. It is hoped that the paperwork can be completed in time for him to be available for selection tomorrow at Hereford in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
In a further development, goalkeeper Dave Carnell is joining Trafford on dual registration. FC United wish Dave all the best at Trafford whilst keeping the door open for a return to FC United.
