NEW PLAYER: Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones (25) is a central defender who joins FC United from Trafford.

His career began as a youth player at Stockport County before joining Celtic, spending time in their Under-21 team. He has also been with Bristol City, TNS, Livingstone, Mossley and Abbey Hey.

In the 2016/17 season he made 54 appearances for Nantwich Town before signing for Southport on a one year contract in May 2017.

Last summer he joined Ashton United before moving to Trafford in November 2018 where he would go on to make 22 appearances. He recently enjoyed success at Broadhurst Park winning the NPL Integro League Cup for Trafford v Farsley Celtic in April.

Curtis is currently away on holiday so has not been available for a FC photo or short interview.
